What is rebonding?
Your hair is made up of protein. Hair components are joined together by disulfide bonds that make up your hair structure. If your hair is straight, curly, or wavy, hair rebonding is a way to loosen your hair bonds so that they can restructure. Towards the end of the process, your hair will be straight and without frizz. How does hair rebonding straighten hair? Rebonding relies on a special solution similar to straight hair for hair. This is the solution that breaks and shapes the hair follicles and makes them smooth when using the iron. Hair is saturated with the solution, washed, dried with a dryer. They are then ironed in small pieces with ceramic iron. A solution is then applied, followed by a neutralizer, which holds the filter in place. The whole process is very long. Depending on the length and thickness of the hair, you can expect to be in a beauty salon for a few hours.
