Waxing In fact, there are currently two types of waxing: waxing with hot wax and waxing with cold wax. Using hot wax, the wax is applied directly to the skin using a special tool. The cloth strips are smoothed on the wax and then the wax is removed from the skin. In waxing, cold wax is used with hot wax that is placed directly on the skin. Leave the wax to cool and harden on the skin. Then the corner of the wax is removed upwards and the wax is pulled directly from the skin. Cold waxing helps to open the pores before removing the strips and makes them more suitable for more sensitive areas.
